About Brian
Versatility Unleashed
Brian is a high calibre, turbo-charged, multi-faceted performing artist and creative force, based in Southwest Florida.
A brilliant pianist and vocalist, Brian Gurl captivates audiences with his stunningly imaginative musical arrangements, engaging persona, theatrical energy and contagious joy.
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Brian began studying classical piano at the age of six. His gift of perfect pitch was discovered by his father one day, when Brian asked, "Why is the lawn mower running in the key of G?"
At eight, Brian delighted classmates, playing by ear, the popular melodies he heard on radio and television. Throughout high school, he studied classical piano while continuing to investigate other genres. By 19, Brian was making his full-time living as a pianist of many styles. He also has more than a decade of vocal, drama and dance training, making him an eclectic entertainer, far beyond the ivory keys.
